There's an all-too-common phrase I often hear investors groan...

"I wish I had bought this stock before it soared."

They often wish that they had bought shares in Microsoft (MSFT) or Amazon (AMZN) right after these now-giants went public.

Of course, it's no more than wishful thinking. There's no way to travel back in time and buy shares of these companies at any past date...

But let's pretend for a moment that we can use a time machine. If this were possible, then I'm sure many investors would head back to January 22, 1999.

You see, that's the date that a relatively unknown tech company went public. And since then, its stock has skyrocketed more than 500,000%.

Investing in This Stock Could Have Turned $12 Into $60,000

Folks, as I'm sure you've guessed, I'm talking about Nvidia (NVDA).

Nvidia went public for $12 per share in 1999. Adjusted for splits today – that's about $0.04 a share...

At that time, Nvidia hadn't launched its first graphics processing unit ("GPU") yet. This GPU, the GeForce 256 DDR, debuted in December 1999.

Nvidia didn't know it had laid the foundation for an AI revolution 25 years later. In 1999, the GeForce 256 had one job – make 3D graphics in video games better.

At the end of 1999, Nvidia's market cap sat just shy of $1 billion. This was a far cry from the biggest stock of the year, which was Microsoft with a $604 billion market cap.

It wasn't even close to the third-biggest company at the time – Intel (INTC). The chipmaker's market cap in 1999 was $274 billion.

I'm sure no one thought Nvidia would overtake Intel anytime soon... Or that Intel would one day need an investment from Nvidia to save its falling stock.

We now know that's exactly what happened. Nvidia's market cap flew past Intel's $204 billion in 2020. And today, Nvidia's market cap hovers around the $5 trillion mark.

As I said earlier – we don't have access to a real time machine. So, we can't travel back to 1999 and buy shares of Nvidia.

But thanks to a new, powerful technology, we can do the next best thing...

The First AI-Powered Power Gauge Tool Is Almost Here

Yesterday, our founder, Marc Chaikin, broke the news of the first AI-powered add-on to the Power Gauge.

This add-on is like a "time machine" for the stock market. It can "turn back the clock" on the best stocks in history – like Nvidia.

Unfortunately, it still won't let you buy shares of Nvidia at its 1999 price.

But we've been fine-tuning this system here at Chaikin Analytics. And our entire team can't wait to share the next evolution of the Power Gauge with you.

On June 24, at 10 a.m. Eastern time, you'll get the first look at just how powerful this new tool is.

At that time, Marc and my colleague Joe Austin will show you this brand-new "Time Machine." And they'll share how this tool can spot tomorrow's biggest potential winners.

I know they're excited to bring subscribers fresh investing opportunities from the Time Machine itself.

Put simply – this isn't something you'll want to miss...

This Convenience-Store Stock Is Outpacing Tech

Ethan Goldman||July 13, 2026

Right now, it seems impossible to talk about investing without discussing AI... And there's good reason for that. Last year alone, more than 400,000 Americans became millionaires thanks to the AI stock boom. But it makes sense that many people are tired of hearing about these stocks in every conversation. Especially when there are other strong stocks out there... In fact, last Tuesday, I wrote about a surprising group of stocks that had just outperformed the whole tech sector. As you can guess, these stocks aren't key players in the latest AI megatrend. Not one of the stocks made semiconductors, […]

Last Week, This 'Bullish' Sector Outperformed Tech Stocks

Ethan Goldman||July 7, 2026

The start of July didn't treat memory stocks kindly... Three of the biggest names in memory cooled off after massive triple-digit gains in the past year. I'm talking about Micron Technology (MU), Seagate Technology (STX), and Western Digital (WDC). Even with the pullback, each one of these stocks has more than doubled so far in […]

You Don't Need to Miss Future 800% Gains

Wednesday night proved the AI trade is still hot... You see, the latest megatrend is sending stocks higher in a hurry. But one wrong step can push a stock into correction territory instantly. Take Broadcom (AVGO) for example. On June 3, the company reported its second-quarter earnings for the year. Under normal circumstances, the following […]
